Blood Tests
Last Updated: Thursday, 16 April 2026A blood test is often done to check your health, or to find out why you're having certain symptoms. It involves having a small amount of your blood taken for testing. There are lots of reasons why you may need a blood test. These include:-
· To check your general health
· Finding out if symptoms you are having are caused by certain conditions
· To find out if you are more likely to get a condition
· Finding out how well a condition is being treated or managed.
Routine Blood Tests For Adults
A blood test usually involves taking a blood sample from a blood vessel in your arm.
Please collect your blood form from the surgery, as you will need to take this with you to your appointment so that they will know what blood tests are needed. Please book your blood test online at Online Blood Test Booking or call (0151) 285 4548.
