Results
Last Updated: Thursday, 16 April 2026Test results will come to the practice within a variable period of time depending on the type of test. If you have been advised to contact us for your results then please call us on (0151) 256 9800. Please consider calling after 12 noon when our phone lines are quieter. This will mean your call will be answered more quickly and our staff will have more time to discuss your query and answer your questions more thoroughly.
Please note that we do have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. In this respect we will only give out results to the person they relate to unless that person has given prior permission for their release or if they are not capable of understanding them.
NHS App
Some results may be visible online via the NHS App. Don’t forget to enable your notifications, so that you will be prompted whenever you have been sent a message.
Appointment To Discuss Results
We may contact you to request that you make an appointment to see a Doctor, Nurse or Health Care Assistant following your test to discuss your results. Any results that require immediate treatment will be relayed to you as soon as possible.
