4. Bladder Problems (Ketamine Bladder) – Know the Signs
This problem is common with regular ketamine use. The drug burns your urinary system, and the damage can become permanent if it is not treated quickly.
If you use ketamine, watch out for these signs:
● Peeing All the Time: Needing to rush to the toilet very often (maybe every 10–20 minutes), even if you only pass a tiny bit of pee.
● Pain: A burning or stinging feeling when you pee, or bad pain in your lower stomach area.
● Blood: Seeing any blood in your pee, or if your pee is very dark or cloudy.
● Leaking: Trouble holding your pee in.
🚨 YOU MUST GET HELP: If you have any of these bladder problems, please contact your GP or the surgery urgently. We will check your health without judgement. Stopping use as soon as possible gives your body the best chance to heal.
