When We Are Closedtelephone_brown

After normal working times and at weekends and public holidays the services to our patients are provided by the local out-of-hours provider UC24 which is answerable to Liverpool Clinical Commissioning Group for the extent and quality of its service.

Access to this service is via the new NHS 111 phone number. This is a free call from land lines and mobiles

NHS 111 (Formerly NHS Direct)

You can access urgent assistance by calling NHS 111 on 111. A triage nurse will assess your situation and take appropriate action. This could simply be by offering advice or where necessary by making arrangements for you to be seen by a doctor.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
