3. The Health Risks You Need to Know

Ketamine can cause serious harm to your body and mind, even if you only use it for a short time.

Quick Risks (While under the influence)

Danger: NEVER mix ketamine with alcohol or other downers (like sleeping pills). It slows your breathing and heart rate way down, leading to a high risk of fatal overdose.

Safety: Since it numbs pain, you could hurt yourself badly and not realise it until hours later.

Long-Term Risks (After regular use)

Bladder & Kidneys: This is the most serious risk. Ketamine damages the inside of your bladder. (See Section 4 for signs).

"K-Cramps": Severe, painful stomach aches that come and go.

Nasal Damage (if snorting): it can destroy the tissue inside your nose, causing constant nosebleeds and infections.

Mental Health: Leads to bad anxiety, depression, memory loss, and paranoia.

Dependence: Getting a strong craving to use it all the time, making it hard to stop.
