Home VisitsDoctor's bag

Should you need to see a doctor and you definitely cannot attend the surgery, please telephone the practice and request a home visit.

Please telephone before 10:00 and leave a telephone number for the place where you are staying as you might be contacted by a doctor to assess the need for the visit. Any visit is at the discretion of the doctor.

If you do not have a telephone, someone else can make the request for you and in this case please make sure that the requester has enough information for the doctor to make an informed decision.

You may also be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.
